This case study was developed by a created partnership between YouTube and Shuttlerock.

The Challenge

Canadian specialty tea retailer, DAVIDsTEA, needed an actionable, engaging ad format to drive revenue during the busy Holiday shopping season. 

The Approach

DAVIDsTEA and its digital agency Labelium, partnered with Shuttlerock to edit the brands existing assets just in time for a holiday video campaign.

 

Within two weeks, Shuttlerock was able to deliver YouTube optimized ads that showcased DAVIDsTEA's iconic product line and included a holiday offering.

The Results

DAVIDsTEA ran its new creative as TruView for action ads to drive 4.3% lift in purchase intent, 11,000 in-store visits and CA$71,000 in direct sales at CPA of under CA$40.

Branded search queries also increased from 40% from viewers exposed to the ads.
