A new chapter has landed. Introducing Shuttlerock’s intelligent creative engine

Fifteen years ago, I came back from Japan with a hunch I couldn't shake.
It was 2011. Facebook was finding its feet with advertisers and Instagram had only just launched. It was clear traditional agencies were struggling to keep up, convincing me digital advertising was about to explode. So I followed that gut feeling, gathered a small team around my kitchen table and started Shuttlerock.
The idea was simple: there had to be a better way to produce ads to meet the new era of advertising.
Same mission, different world
Fast forward to today and we’re in a completely different world with new platforms, evolving algorithms and fast moving trends. But whilst the world has changed, our mission hasn’t - helping marketers achieve their creative ambition.
Over the past 24 months, we’ve invested deeply in our product strategy, understanding our core customers and the problems they need us to solve and most importantly, rebuilding our technology from the ground up.
That work has given us real clarity on where we create the most value and where to put our energy.
Today, I'm proud to share what we’ve been working on.
Shuttlerock is the creative engine for the most ambitious companies.
Our AI-powered creative engine brings together creative technology, automation and human craft in one seamless, end to end managed platform.
At the center is a redesigned technology platform that absorbs a brand's assets, guidelines, product feeds and data and builds continuously refreshed assets. Behind every brief sits Shuttlerock’s creative intelligence, which learns each brand’s rules, preferences and turns performance data into insights of what to launch next, so the engine becomes smarter with every campaign.
Our strategic shift responds to a clear demand from our customer base which are made up of Fortune 500 CMOs.
Every CMO I speak to wants to get closer to one to one marketing, where each consumer sees an ad that feels made for them. But for that level of scale to work, brands need a constant supply of fresh assets to test, learn and feed algorithms. Producing that much while keeping every ad on brand is where most systems break. CMOs feel forced to choose between volume and brand control and now with Shuttlerock they don’t have to.
A new chapter deserved a new look
As part of our new focus we are also revealing a refreshed brand identity.
The identity is built around a lattice, a grid of connected elements that can vary in scale while remaining part of one system. The concept reflects how Shuttlerock’s technology works: taking a single idea, asset or creative foundation and adapting it across formats, channels and markets.
Our logo has changed too. What was previously a striped symbol has evolved into a single, sharper form drawn from the same underlying geometry as the lattice, bringing the company’s identity and its technology together as one visual system.
What's next
We have an impressive product roadmap underway as we continue to improve our technology platform for our customers. We’ll be sharing these updates over the next few months and what this means for you.
Fifteen years on, that kitchen table has grown into a team that spans the world.. None of this happens without the Shuttlerock team, and I couldn't be prouder of what they've built.
