SHIFT

The Challenge

Shift is a workflow management software service that helps people be more productive by connecting multiple email accounts, social networks and web apps. Shift’s streamlined workstation gives users quick access to everything they need in one place.

After using Facebook’s Automatic Placement feature for its social video campaigns, Shift discovered that the majority of impressions were on mobile devices. With mobile-first now the primary promotional strategy, Shift wanted a fast and efficient way to create effective mobile-optimized content from existing longform video assets. 

As the videos targeted audiences who may not be familiar with Shift, Shuttlerock’s team ensured the Shift brand was prominently featured in the opening seconds. The original one-minute video was recut to 15 seconds, the recommended length for mobile video ads. Shuttlerock also converted the original video into different aspect ratios optimized for Feed, Stories, and In-Stream ad placements.
