Hilton’s Travel Catalog ads relied on static imagery across a portfolio of hundreds of properties.
Video consistently outperforms static in paid social, but producing it the traditional way would have meant organising new shoots for 700 Hilton properties, a cost and logistics issue that made video at catalog scale unrealistic.
Hilton needed a way to bring more engaging creative to its mid- and lower-funnel advertising as well as give lesser-known properties the same visibility as its flagship hotels. In addition, Hilton needed continuous fresh content to feed Meta’s algorithm all without adding production budget or time.

Hilton used Shuttlerock’s AI-powered technology and creative engine solution to turn its existing property imagery into catalog product videos. Working in partnership with Meta, Shuttlerock's AI technology transformed Hilton’s existing photo library into platform-native video assets.
Rather than commissioning new shoots, Hilton used content it already owned and refreshed it for new audiences. The approach brought consistent, brand-level craft to every property in the catalog, including many hotels that would rarely justify a dedicated production budget.
Using Shuttlerock’s AI powered technology, Hilton experienced a huge uplift in awareness and performance:
- 42% increase in people reached compared with static assets alone
- 13% more bookings
- 8% ROAS uplift
- Re-shoots avoided across approximately 700 properties, significantly lowering production costs
Following this success, Hilton is now scaling Shuttlerock’s catalog video solution across all of its properties in the United States, using AI to power more campaigns without the need for additional shoots.
"AI Image-to-Video technology has helped us unlock the potential of our dynamic hotel feed advertising, enabling us to showcase the best of what our hotels have to offer through video where a single image couldn’t. All without having to visit over 700 hotels to shoot individual hotel videos, so saving us a huge amount of both time and production budget."
